Best Las Vegas Shows 2026: Ranked

The best Las Vegas shows for 2026 are O by Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio, Absinthe at Caesars Palace and Sphere for its residencies. Past those three, the right show depends on who's going: for adults 18+, the pick is ROUGE at The STRAT; for families, it's WOW – The Vegas Spectacular at the Rio, all ages and recommended 3+.

Vegas has dozens of shows running on any given night, and most "best of" lists are really ad space. This one is ranked on what a visitor actually gets: the production itself, whether it fits your group, and a clean, official way to buy.

Disclosure: Curtain Call Vegas is published by the same team that markets ROUGE and WOW. Both are ranked below the three shows we think are the city's best overall. How we pick.

1. O by Cirque du Soleil

Venue: Bellagio. Format: aquatic Cirque spectacle on a water stage.

O is still the show most people mean when they say "the best show in Vegas": synchronized swimming, high dives and aerial work in a theater built around a pool. If you only see one show and the budget is there, this is the safe, spectacular choice. Book through Cirque du Soleil.

2. Absinthe

Venue: Caesars Palace (Spiegeltent). Format: close-up circus with aggressively adult comedy. Ages: 18+.

Absinthe puts world-class acrobatics a few feet from your seat and wraps it in a host whose humor is crude on purpose. It's the best adult circus in town. It is not a sensual or burlesque show, so if that's what you're after, see #4.

3. Sphere residencies

Venue: Sphere. Format: concerts and immersive films in a wraparound LED venue.

Nothing else in Vegas looks like the inside of Sphere. What you'll see depends on the residency running during your trip, so check the calendar first and pick by artist or film, not by the building alone.

4. Best for adults 18+: ROUGE at The STRAT

Venue: The STRAT Theater, 2000 Las Vegas Blvd S. Format: co-ed topless variety, with burlesque, dance, aerial and acrobatic acts, contortion and comedy. Ages: 18+. Showtimes: Tuesday–Sunday at 9:00 PM, dark Monday.

ROUGE is the pick when you want an adults' night that's sexy and fun rather than shock comedy. Male and female performers share the stage, which is why it works for couples and mixed groups, and it's a ticketed theater show, not a strip club. Buying directly from The STRAT also includes complimentary STRAT Tower admission with qualifying tickets, so you can do the observation deck before the show.

5. Best for families: WOW – The Vegas Spectacular at the Rio

Venue: Rio Hotel & Casino, 3700 W Flamingo Rd. Format: water and acrobatics spectacular, with aerial acts, dance and comedy. Ages: all ages, recommended 3+. Showtimes: Tuesday–Sunday at 7:00 PM, dark Monday.

WOW – The Vegas Spectacular has been at the Rio for 9 years, and it's the strongest all-ages production pick in town: big, visual and easy to follow whatever language your family speaks. The 7:00 PM curtain gets younger kids back to the hotel at a sensible hour. It won Review-Journal Best of Las Vegas Gold for Best Acrobatic Show in 2024 and 2025, and Gold for Best Value Show in 2018 (Best of Las Vegas).

Not to be confused with WOW Vegas, the online social casino, which has no connection to the show.

6. More Cirque: KÀ, Mystère and Michael Jackson ONE

KÀ (MGM Grand) is Cirque's action-and-stagecraft show. Mystère (Treasure Island) is the long-running classic that plays well with mixed ages. Michael Jackson ONE (Mandalay Bay) is the pick for music fans. If O is sold out or you've seen it, any of these is a strong second Cirque night.

7. Penn & Teller

Venue: Rio. Smart, funny magic from a duo who explain just enough to make it more impressive. A good choice for teens and adults who'd rather laugh than gasp.

8. Blue Man Group

Venue: Luxor. Percussion, paint and deadpan comedy with almost no dialogue, so it works for mixed ages and visitors who don't speak English.
